Just 20 years ago in Sicily a holiday home with a pool was the exception and considered pure luxury. Today, however,  a swimming pool is ‘a must’ for most of our guests. Even though the beach can be reached in only a few minutes from all of our holiday homes, a private pool allows for relaxed and restful days when one doesn’t feel like surrendering to the hustle and bustle of the Sicilian summer seaside.

For families with small children, we offer a selection of holiday homes with pools complete with shallow splash areas,  and also a selection of pools surrounded by lawn where children can crawl and play. Many of our homes also feature pools with conveniently located outdoor kitchens, barbecues and fridges so there is no reason to leave the comfort of the pool area.

Some of our holiday homes feature idyllic infinity pools, most of which are now salt water. Its so wonderful to experience the freshness of swimming in a pool without the lingering odour of chlorine! Our pool selection ranges from small plunge pools of 2 by 3 metres, to swimming pools which measure over 100 square metres in size. Almost all pools in Sicily have a limited depth of about 140 cm.
