Northwest Sicily, the other side
The Elymer legacy
So far, we have limited our selection of holiday homes to two regions of Sicily. Why is it clear when reading our website.
The other side, the Northwest.
Everything that we’ve written about the south-east is valid for the north-west.
The density of places to visit and see within a radius of just a few kilometers is something, which is hard to find outside of Sicily.
The landscape is different to the that of the provinces Syracuse and Raguse. It isn’t as a peaceful, and the coast isn’t as dominated by agriculture. There are less sand beaches but more wonderful small bays, impressive cliff formations, a lot of nature and cities which are just as beautiful as in the south-east:
Palermo, Castellammare del Golfo, San Vito lo Capo, Erice, Trapani and Marsala. On top of that the north-west is home to the Greek temples of Segesta and Selinunt, the Lo Zingaro nature reserve, salt works, Mozia and and wonderful wine-growing areas.
