New with heated pool. La Nica is a modern, stylish holiday home re-built on its old foundations. It has been wonderfully integrated in the Mediterranean Macchia and offers a superb view of Noto and the sea, making it the perfect place to wind down.
The furnishing and decoration has been chosen with taste and partly for the owner. The house is mainly composed of a large room from which the sleeping area can be separated with a curtain, and is equipped with a dish-washer, a washing machine, an induction stove and air-conditioning. Both chaise longue can be used as two additional beds.The roof terrace offers a spectacular view of the Sicilian landscape as well as the sea and Noto. Close by are four additional houses, meaning that, despite the welcomed tranquillity of the area, visitors don’t have to feel lonely.Upon request La Nica, La Balza and Le Casuzze can be booked together.By car, Noto is 15 minutes and the lovely sandy beaches are 20 minutes away.
Nica and the area of Noto offer everything you could wish for a relaxing and cultural holiday in Southeast Sicily. Within 45 km there are several Baroque towns including Noto, Scicli, Modica and Ragusa Ibla (all World Heritage Unesco sites) and Siracusa with the unique town centre on the peninsula Ortigia and the Greek theatre. For those in search of stunning scenery, also close by are the natural reserve of Vendicari with 5 sandy beaches, Cava Grande with natural swimming pools, the necropolis of Pantalica, and the Monti Iblei with the beautiful small baroque town of Palazollo Acreide and its amphiteatre. From Noto you can also easily make a day trip to Mount Etna, Taormina or Agrigento.

Wir hatten eine absolut traumhafte Zeit im Haus „La Nica“. Eigentlich war unser Plan, viel auf der Insel herumzufahren und die Gegend zu erkunden. Da wir aber bestes Wetter hatten und das Haus einfach so wunderschön und entspannend war, haben wir unsere Pläne spontan geändert und sind fast die ganze Zeit dort geblieben, um die Ruhe zu genießen.
Ein ganz besonderer Dank geht an Sara und Adriana vor Ort, die uns sehr lieb und aufmerksam betreut hat – wir haben uns bestens aufgehoben gefühlt. Auch die Liste mit den regionalen Empfehlungen war für uns Gold wert und hat uns zu tollen Orten geführt, wenn wir uns doch mal vom Haus losreißen konnten. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
