Villa Collis sleeps nine/ten people in four bedrooms. Bedrooms one and two have king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms; bedroom three has a king-size bed and shares a family bathroom with bedroom four, which sleeps three in bunk beds and a single bed. We have an additional bed and a travel cot which can be put any of the bedrooms. All have ceiling fans, storage space, internal shutters and insect screens. The large open plan kitchen/dining room has marble and granite surfaces, a gas oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, plenty of storage and a table seating ten. The sitting room opens on to the terrace and has sofas, a coffee table, an open fire, a digital TV, DVD player and music system. Other amenities include a guest loo, utility room with a washing machine, central heating, wifi with an excellent internet connection, books, games and a hairdryer. All bed linen and towels are provided, including swimming pool towels.The villa sits in a five-acre plot of olive and almond trees and is surrounded by vineyards and farmland. The historic town of Noto is visible in the distance and on a clear day Mount Etna can be seen towering majestically above the hills to the north. There is a barbecue area with a sink and fridge close to the pool. Stairs lead to the roof terrace, perfect for taking in the breathtaking panoramic views towards Noto at sunset. Sun loungers surround the large turquoise swimming pool and a full-shade pergola covers soft seating and a dining table for ten. The house is completely off-grid, with electricity from solar panels (and a back-up generator) and fresh water for washing and cooking pumped from a borehole. Villa Collis sits in the hills above the Vendicari Nature Reserve, 20 minutes from the town of Noto on the south-east coast of Sicily. It is just over an hour´s drive from Catania and Comiso airports which are served by frequent Easyjet, Ryanair, Norwegian Air, Alitalia and British Airways flights from UK airports.
